Well-established freight forwarding company seeks a Logistics Sales Manager - confident, experienced self-starter professional with ambitions to grow in the team through an intense co-working environment.
In this position you will be responsible for the development of new business in the United States through the cold calls and inside sales.
This includes identifying, researching, and engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, aligning with Maxton Shipping as a solutions provider and ultimately setting up new accounts.
Responsibilities

Find and develop new freight customers based in the U.S.

50+ cold calls per day/ 50-100 follow up emails per day / 5 days per week

Leverage tools and online research platforms to target prospects and gather strategic information regarding potential customers interested in Export / Import logistics & freight forwarding services

Reaching potential Customers via cold calls, e-mails, LinkedIn communication etc.

Establish and maintain business relationships with new clients and create your customer base

Work closely with the internal operation department to compile Service Proposal and ensure clients receive it by the specified date.

Conduct account reviews with customers on performance, forecasts, and opportunities

Keep the sales reports intact with requirements.
Requirements
-
2+ years in Sales or Operations in international Ocean Freight Forwarding services: FCL, LCL, Drayage, Warehousing is required

Experience with a Project Logistics is a plus: OOG, Breakbulk cargo
