Ocean Freight Logistics Coordinator

Currently, we are looking for an Ocean Freight Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to-end ocean shipments, including booking coordination, documentation, carrier communication, and milestone tracking. This role works closely with customers, steamship lines, overseas agents, and internal teams to ensure timely vessel departures, compliance with shipping requirements, and smooth cargo delivery across global trade lanes.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate and manage ocean freight shipments from booking to delivery;
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and customers to ensure all milestones are met;
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including B/Ls, invoices, and customs paperwork;
• Track and update shipment statuses in the Skypace platform, ensuring transparency for all parties;
• Work with internal pricing, operations, and customer support teams to resolve issues promptly;
• Monitor carrier schedules, transit times, and exceptions to maintain customer satisfaction;
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service quality.

You’re a Fit If:

• You have 2+ years of experience in ocean freight forwarding, import/export, or logistics operations;
• You have strong knowledge of carrier schedules, Incoterms, and international documentation;
• You’re detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
• You’re proficient with TMS or digital freight platforms and familiar with EDI tracking tools;
• You communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and team members.
